Governance

The County Service Area 11 is a dependent district of the County of Santa Cruz and is governed by the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors.

There is no separate governance activities or meeting schedule. CSA 11 business is conducted by the Board of Supervisors, with actions taken at regular Board of Supervisors meetings as noted on the agendas.

Santa Cruz County staff from the Department of Parks, Open Space and Cultural Services manages the services related to CSA 11.

CSA 11’s budgets are included in the County’s annual adopted Budget and Financial Reports.

CSA 11’s audits are included in the County’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports.

State law requires the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) of Santa Cruz County to periodically review CSA 11's services and boundaries. These reviews evaluate how services are provided and help guide future planning for local agencies. Learn more in the LAFCO County Service Area 11 Report.
