The Santa Cruz County Public Defenders office will often be a person’s first point of contact when seeking record change.

Santa Cruz County Probation

The Santa Cruz County Probation Department has led the way for two decades when it comes to progressive approaches to criminal justice, community justice and reentry.

 

Santa Cruz County Law Library

Provides a range of self-help legal resources to residents. Hosts a monthly workshop on record clearance. 

 

Watsonville Law Center

Provides free legal services to low-income individuals on the Central Coast.

 

Community Action Board of Santa Cruz County

The Community Action Board is a partner in several reentry efforts, including Prop 47 and the "Jails to Jobs" program.

 

Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County

The Volunteer Center oversees the "Friends Outside" program, which partners with inmates to help facilitate a positive transition back into the community.
