Santa Cruz Probation Internship Program

Work in the adult division, juvenile division, or the juvenile hall to gain practical experience in the criminal justice field working with other probation staff, partnering agencies, and clients.

You must be at least 18 years old, attend an intern orientation, be able to pass a background check, and finger printing is required. A minimum of three months is required with a weekly commitment of 8 - 10 hours.

 

Our next Intern Orientation will be held  in the Fall or Winter of 2025, please check back on this website as the date and time will be posted when it is determined. At the current time, our internship program is full and we are not accepting any applicants. You must attend an orientation as a requirement and part of the application process. At the orientation, the program will be explained in depth, and you will be provided with applications to formally apply.
