Internship Program

By June 2025, Information Services will establish paid internship programs with local educational and non-profit organizations to provide six training and job experience opportunities for underrepresented groups in the County.

Develop budget for student worker interns in App/Dev, IT support and Sys Admin. Establish contracts for interns by working with the University of California Santa Cruz, Cabrillo College, and Digital Nest. Develop measurable plan in the department for successful internships. Hire three interns per year for Fiscal Years 2023-24 and 2024-25.
