By June 2020, Planning will complete amendments of General Plan policies and County Land Use Regulations to support preservation of existing housing.

Propose regulations that support preservation of affordable-by-design rental housing to be considered by the Board of Supervisors and Coastal Commission. Include in the Growth Goal Annual Report, information about numbers and types of units that are recognized through these land use programs. Update Safe Structures Program and Permanent Room Housing Overlay Districts.
