Culturally Responsive

By June 2021, Human Services staff will increase understanding of its own cultural responsiveness to racial/ethnic equity, sexual orientation, and gender identity and expression (SOGIE).

Develop SOGIE Training to collect voluntary self-identification data, and identify trainings to address racial and ethnic disparities. Administer training and gather attendee feedback on transfer of learning. Provide opportunities for other Departments to attend. Review staff compliance with training and analyze staff feedback. Refine training based on feedback as needed.
